Please add Kandi Burriss’ new word to the American lexicon. Thank you. Kandi coined the phrase, meaning bourgeois and ghetto at the same time, after witnessing fellow Real Housewife of Atlanta Phaedra’s over the top baby shower featuring escorts, ballerinas, and Phaedra dancing a minuet with Dwight (who looks like a wax figure to me) while wearing a floor length ball gown and house shoes. I couldn’t agree more.
