Radio One Introduces JACK FM to 98.9 FM and Moves WXMG to 106.3 FM

COLUMBUS, September 16, 2011 — Radio One has announced that JACK FM will begin broadcasting
on 98.9 FM, effective today, September 16, 2011. JACK FM, known for “Playing What We Want,” is
making its introduction to the Columbus Market.

In addition, Radio One has announced that its Urban Adult Contemporary station, WXMG, will begin
broadcasting on the frequency of 106.3 FM beginning today, September 16, 2011. WXMG’s home for
the past 14 years has been 98.9 FM.

Radio One Columbus Vice President & General Manager, Eddie Harrell, Jr. states, “Moving WXMG
from 98.9 to 106.3 allows us to continue providing great music to our loyal urban adult contemporary
listeners. WXMG will continue to be anchored by the Tom Joyner Morning Show. With the addition of

communities that make Central Ohio a vibrant region.”
