The body of WHITNEY HOUSTON came back to her home state of NEW JERSEY last night, and was taken to a funeral home as family members reportedly are making decisions on where to hold her funeral.
Sources had told CBS RADIO News WINS-A/NEW YORK, “A private funeral will be held SATURDAY for WHITNEY HOUSTON at NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH while a two-day, public memorial will be held at the PRUDENTIAL CENTER in NEWARK.”
Plans for the public funeral have since been dropped.
ELLIS preaches at NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH, where HOUSTON attended growing up, and said the church wasn’t big enough for all who might want to attend HOUSTON’s funeral.
