An analysis of gross ratings points through Arbitron’s Get-A-GRIP™, illustrates that spending in the real estate category was up in 10 of the 14 Radio One PPM markets during first quarter 2012. Urban Listeners Spend on Music Equipment
According to Scarborough Research, listeners to urban formatted radio stations spent an average of $436 on home music systems in the past year. They are more likely to spend 41% more in the $1000-$3000 category than the average U.S. Adult 18+.
