Q. What are the "Frequent Facts?"

A.
No. We have made a decision at this time to stay true to Urban and Inspirational demographics, Urban Main, Urban Adult, Rhythm and Inspirational. The content will be the latest releases for the major labels and many Indies prior to public release. This focus is unique in the industry and provides program directors and DJ's with a simple interface to review and download the music they need to maintain the latest in programming.
Q. What other content may I find on this server?
A.
We will include video clips, remixes, and promo spots. These are all valuable tools to program directors and DJ's. It will prove to be a valuable portal for industry insiders.
Q. What about the quality of the music? There are so many MP3's out there that just sound bad they can't be broadcast quality?
A.
The music that is made available directly from our server to the Program Directors and the DJ's will be the highest quality possible. Our preference is WAV files but from time to time we will provide MP3's at bit rates of 256k and 320k. The highest bit rate supported by ISO decoders is 320kbps. For the most part 256kbps files are about 10MB in size and produce sound that exceeds broadcast quality capabilities. WAV files are equal to quality to the original recording and can be 50-60MB in size. In order to maintain quality demanded by our profession going forward we will establish posting and distribution quality control standards that will help ensure this broadcast quality.
Q. What about the quality of the listening stream we hear from the play button?
A.
In order to offer the highest quality of sample music to the public, we will most likely settle on a bit rate of 320kbps. This rate provides the highest quality listening experience over the internet. Lower bit rates will not be available for download to our professionals so that we can preserve the quality of music distributed on our server. Professionals will be able to download only the highest bit rate MP3 or WAV file.
